These drawings are from my last life drawing drop in session before quarantine, March 6, 2020 at the Umbrella Center for the Arts in Concord, MA.

In Fast Sketching Techniques: Capture the Fundamental Essence of Elusive Subjects, David Rankin, the writer, wrote that copying is the fastest way to learn to sketch.
I spent about two hours copying his work from his book.

In a recent blog post, Liz Steel asked, “Do you have any regular habits to help fit sketching into your daily life?”
Despite always having a technical pen and a tiny sketchbook in my coat pocket, I don’t.
Two things that I can try that Liz Steel does is sketching something from every outing she goes on – if at all possible and every Monday publishing on her blog the collection of her images to describe the week before.
