From time to time— once a month or so — I like to draw my week. Before I go to bed each night for the week, I draw something from my day. The completed page becomes a look at my week. Here are my two most recent attempts.

Fast Slow Self-portraits

My Fasts were done in about a minute with turquoise Blicks liquid watercolor. My slows were about 15 minutes with a black paper mate flair pen.

The fast / slow progress is two drawings done one on top of the other. The first is done quickly in color with large strokes. The second is done in ink for an hour with lots of details.
